Ben, I’m on version 5.7.1.79 which I think is the current version. When I select April 2010, the occupancy map displayed starts with March 2010. If I select any other month, the correct starting month is displayed. This bug only shows when selecting the current month. If I click the SHOW TODAY button, the correct month is displayed (though not necessarily the start of the month).

Also, when you select the current month from the drop down box, the occupancy map displayed begins with the previous month instead of the current month.

Tax plans should be tied to rooms and/or room types or reservations should allow multiple rate types

There is another problem related to flat taxes and discounts. Again, I’m supposed to charge a flat 50-cent tax per night regardless of the rate or length of stay. But if I offer a rate discount of say 10%, the discount is applied to the flat tax as well as the rate. A flat tax is just that — FLAT. It should not vary with the rate whether a discount is offered or not.

Agreed. In addition to my customized Confirmation Letter, I currently send two other emails thru Rezovation for every booking. One is a Welcome letter with very generalized information and the second addresses location, transportation and arrival issues.
I used to have all of this information in one email, but I found that it was so tedious that guests rarely checked their confirmation details for accuracy. By separating everything out, the guest can quickly look over the one page confirmation details and let me know immediately if there are any problems. Then the other information is easily at their disposal, when they need it. It would be great to have these other two standard text documents as attachments to the Confirmation Letter.

Thanks Ben. I spoke to Adam at Webervations this afternoon and he said it was year-end rollover, server sync problem. Hopefully it won’t happen again next year!

Yes, I voted for this just to elevate it in importance, but I think it is a Webervations 2.0 bug and not an enhancement for RezGT. I forwarded this information to Webervations support and copied Rezovation support last night after a guest contacted me and saw that I was “marketing” her room which she has booked and pre-paid for in June. Talk about embarrassing! I think I was able to convince her that it was not my error and that her reservation was secure, but this is a BUG that could end up costing us the loss of existing reservations. FIX THIS QUICK!!!!

This is a duplicate of the idea “Color coding date on the calendar to alert to special conditions, such as 3 night minimum” – http://feedback.rezovation.com/forums/21446-rezovation-gt/suggestions/273669-color-coding-date-on-the-calendar-to-alert-to-spec?ref=title

Ben, I don’t consider this a duplicate suggestion, unless you are planning to do more than just “color code” dates on the occupancy map to denote “special conditions”. If you plan on incorporating a list of possible events (could be multiple or staggered for a specific period) in addition to the color coding, then I might concede that this issue will be handled under that request. Please advise. Thanks!

When editing rate seasons and adjustments, it would be great to allow a check box option to round up, down or to nearest whole dollar when you are adjusting rates by percentages. For special events I raise my rates across the board by 20-40% but that often leaves some rooms showing a rate such as $258.80 or $179.10. Since I’d rather market room rates as whole dollar amounts, I usually go back in a second time (or more times) to change any room rates that ended up as a fractions of a dollar. If you allowed the rounding or truncation options, it could be done correctly with only one edit.
