  Ben- Thank you for your response. I understand what you are suggesting but all I am asking is to have an online reservation rate structure that can be used effectively. I don't need all the features the GT system offers. If I'm going to be paying 100% more for a basic reservation system I would hope that i could be able to use groups for rate entries. I don't need a property management system. I just need to have an effective rate management system. Maybe you could consider my request! Thanks.

  Lee -- Webervations 1.0 and RezOvation GT are pretty different applications. Webervations is an online reservations system; RezOvation GT is a property management system which also integrates to Webervations and has an integrated online reservations booking engine, links to GDS, etc. Since Webervations 1.0 was never intended to be a property management system, rate management features like what you are needing don't exist, and are not supported based on how it was designed. Most innkeepers who have as many rooms as you do will use a true property management system like RezOvation (or any of the dozen or so PMS systems that Webervations links to), and manage their rates through there.

  I would definitely encourage you to take a look at RezOvation GT -- it has a very tight integration to Webervations, so you can continue to use that for your online reservations, and have the advantage of all the time-saving features like bulk rate management.

  Ben- followed the link you notes and found it referenced "RezOvation GT includes a new simple and powerful rate management feature, which allows you to apply rate changes quickly." I use and was referencing Webervations 1.0. I'm facing a 100% rate increase with no real support or added features. Maybe my request should have requested the rate feature of Rezovation be added to Webervation 1.0. Webervations has no room types or group modifications. Since it has already been accomplished with Resovations it might be easier to add to Webervations. Thanks.

  Lee - I believe what you are asking for can be done already with just a few extra clicks, as we do support bulk rate changes. You can just click the room names that you want to modify (they don't have to be selected in order -- just click the room names one at a time and they will "stick" and stay selected). This will select the specific rooms for all available dates. Then, click Edit Selection and narrow your dates, and apply the rate change. Also, if you have your rates set up by room type, then when you modify the rates for the given room type, this will apply to all units in that room type.
