On customer list, include filter for "has future reservation"
There needs to be a way to send a mass email for marketing purposes that can eliminate people that already have a reservation. There's no way to send a mass email so that current customers aren't included. They already have reservations and don't need to be targeted.

For some reason I thought this was in the pipeline. I don't think I'm being clear enough. Here's an example. Say we are trying to drum up business and send out a special coupon. There are people that already have a reservation. Those people are not our target audience. I want to send an email including a coupon that might urge someone to make a reservation. I don't necessarily want the people that already have a reservation, during the period we are targeting, to get that coupon. I want to be able to exclude them from the mailing. There is no way to do that now.

After re-reading your last comment, I think what you are saying is that you'd like to get a list both of guests that have NEVER booked with you AND guests that don't have a reservation booked in the future (but which have stayed with you in the past). Currently we do not have a way to do this with the filters. I'll update the idea to clarify this.

I'm also trying to include repeat customers that have not already booked yet. You can't do that without including guests that already have a reservation. I need to be able to put in a date range to eliminate already booked customers.

Hi Carol - anyone listed as an "inquiry" in the customer list does not have a reservation. So, to create a marketing list for these folks, go to the Customer list, click the "Inquiries" button on the left to filter the list, and then go to Marketing Tools and create your list. The list will only include your inquiries.
