Online Availability Calendar: show rooms as available even if minimum stay isn't met.
I have a 5 night minimum in peak season, and if the guest looks at the online availability calendar and there is an opening, but it is less than 5 nights, it still shows a red "X" with "5 night min" in text below it. This is confusing to the guest, as the rooms are available, but the 5 night minimum cannot be met. Is there a way those can show in the availability calendar as open, but say "Call to Reserve" or something like that underneath?

This is an ongoing problem for here on Cape Cod when we have various minimum requirements for different rooms. When shorter term bookings are available they should most certainly be available to view by prospective guests.

I just found this as well. I have a 3 night minimum for Balloon Fiesta and this year I have a couple of 2 night blocks that the BE will not let the guest select. The work around, of course, is to reset the minimum night requirements and hope some one doesn't cancel, allowing a 2 night stay with-in a 5 night block.

have a similar problem. 2 night minum for the weekend. I will take a Saturday and Sunday which the system will allow. Now if someone wants the Friday, Even with orphans allowed, it will not take it as it says it needs two consecutive nights. I am afraid that I won't even get a call, they will just move one to another place.
In my case I would see an option that would allow me to attach a two night minimum to just one night (saturday) and the system would fulfill the requirement with either a Friday and Saturday, or a Saturday and Sunday. This is not that uncommon here especially for a small place with a limited number of rooms.
