Travel agent tracking for reservations
This feature would allow you to track and report on travel agent commissions for reservations made by travel agents.

We’ll be adding a more robust travel agent tracking feature in the future.
Currently, the best way to track travel agents is by using the “Taken By” field. You can then generate a "revenue by booking agent’ report to see who is booking your reservations. Many other reports (including the Reservations reports) either already include or support the “taken by” field, so you can add this to the report if you need to.

You can set source to required if you go to Configuration and select "Lists & Occupancy Map" settings. We added this feature in the 5.7 update.
The Taken By field is listed on each reservation on the right side of the Edit Reservation screen. Some reports support the Taken By field and some don't. Take a look at the documentation (go to Help and select Contents, or click the "view template codes" link that is at the bottom of each Manage Template window for the report you are editing.

Also, we would like the source field to be required and some way of telling what has come through GDS and what hasn't so that we can better track which ones we need to pay commissions on and which ones we don't. And further to track what commissions have been paid, when, to whom, etc.

Where is the "taken by" field? I am currently patiently trying to tweak / create my own reports, one where we can track commissions charged and paid, and another where we can print out a report of upcoming parking needs (since we have limited parking here).
