Seasonal "basic" rates
we have seasonal rates that do not change dramatically from year to year (other then small increases). For example, Jan and Sept are always low season - June/July are always high. I would like to be able to enter rates by month/date (what ever is simplest) that can be used each year without setting each day for each room through the adjustments feature.

True. I would suggest an additional new window that has
room type, rate type and year
Jan weekday rate weekend rate minimum stay weekday/weekend
Feb weekday rate weekend rate minimum stay weekday/weekend
Mar ...This way most properties can set their rates for the whole year in one window instead of filling out the rate seasons window 24 times (weekday/weekend for 12 months).
We have 4 room types, so I would need to fill out this new window only 4 times. Now I have to fill out the rate seasons window 96 times!!!
If I need more detailled adjustments, I can always do them with the old form. -

Deanna, thanks for the idea and we'll review it for sure. I will say that many innkeepers we talk to need a lot of flexibility in their seasonal adjustments, and these days, many folks are making last minute adjustments or adjustments based on availability, so having the ability to make bulk changes through the rate adjustments screen is crucial.
The rate seasons and adjustments screen can do this with just a few clicks, you just have to put in your seasons every year or two, instead of the the system doing it for you automatically. Since rates can change year over year, most folks are updating their rates yearly anyway.
