Problem Guests - How to "Flag"
We'd like something that allows us to "flag" a problem guest so we can see it as soon as we type in the guest's name.
For example we have a guest named John Q Smith who gets drunk and breaks
a lamp and causes a disturbance. We don't ever want to rent a room to
him again.
Right now we would put a note in the Customer record in the Notes field.
That stays with the customer but is invisible during the
reservation-taking process. This information is only visible if you go
into EDIT CUSTOMER. You don't usually edit the customer record unless
the address, phone, or email information has changed...and even then,
it's almost too late to back out of booking!
How about a box in the customer record that we can check for "Problem Guests". If we check that box RezoGT would then change the color of the font from default black to RED BOLD. We would see that as soon as we typed in the guest's last name and still be able to stop, check on the problem, and possibly back out of the reservation.
Same thinking - a special font color for REPEAT & FREQUENT GUESTS - you could let us have access to pick our own colors and our own categories - similar to the colors on the calendar that we get to choose for say, comp reservations, etc.

Just want to note that this idea is also present in the RESERVATIONS section with 18 votes requesting a pop-up box; It's a shame there's no way to consolidate these ideas and votes.

This appears on the forum a few times under different names.
Clearly there is a need to mark certain guests so that problems can be avoided in the future. The ability to mark them as VIP guests would also be a nice addition...didn't think of that before but great idea! -
