    1. Reservation History - edits/payments/changes

      We are now using Rezo GTO. On Rezo Desktop - when you open a reservation there is a line on the Status tab that says "Last Change: . It doesn't look like a field or clickable, but when you double-click on it you get a history of that reservation - the original set up, any edits, any payments - everything. FABULOUS for audits, corrections, etc. This is not on Rezo GT and we really need it!

      • Need an hourly reservation calendar

        I have lots of activities, horseback rides, picnics, etc., and I desparately need an hourly reservation calendar to schedule and track those. I am double booking lots of stuff right now, like horseback rides, and I'm the only wrangler right now.

        • POP-UP msg when making new reservation for former guest, to alert staff of important information

          Internal staff notes on a former guest should appear/pop-up when making a new reservation for that guest, to alert staff of any allergies, Impairments/requirements, special circumstances, welcome status, etc. Anything impt enough to create an Internal Staff Note on a guest should be made available to staff during a subsequent reservation process.

          • Enhanced Correspondence Feature

            You should be able to track customer inquiries regarding reservations within the actual software using the correspondence feature. I think this could be implemented simply by having customers include their confirmation number on the subject field of their email. By doing this RezOvation will become not only a great reservation software but a powerful customer service system.

            Example:

            1- John Smith makes a reservation at the Country Inn (by phone or using the booking engine)
            2- He is automatically emailed a confirmation email.
            3- John has a question regarding parking, he replies to the confirmation email .

            • to track a customer's stay as one continuous reservation, even if the customer changes rooms.

              I work for a Ronald McDonald House, and it would be great for our statistics tracking if we could keep track of a customer who changes rooms multiple times in a single visit. So they stay in 3 different rooms over the course of 100 days, we can see that, instead of seeing it as three 35-day stays.

              • Capitalize Proper Nouns Automatically

                Would love to see something that when a clerk or guest makes a reservation, the Names, Street Address, City and State are automatically capitalized. Currently, we have to manually go back and change it. This would make for more professional/businesslike automated emails without having to manually change it every time somebody makes a reservation online and doesn't use proper capitalization.

                • offering a repeat guest a discount and having the system check to verify that they are a repeat gues

                  have the system verify that the guest is a repeat when they are making the online reservation so they can put in the promo code and get the discount

                  • ability to select date on occupancy map

                    In RezOvation Desktop, we could use a date picker to go to specific dates on the Occupancy Map. Currently you can only select Month and Year. We would like the same capability for RezOvation GT.

                      When right clicking on a reservation inside the occupancy map the print menu should contain the Registration Card as an option

                      • Ability to see Internal Staff Notes on the Reservations and Sales screen

                        On the Sales and Reservation screen, you can see Guest Notes but not Internal Staff Notes - we would like the ability to see Internal Staff Notes on the Sales and Reservation screen in the same fashion as you see the Guest Notes

                          When multiple guests are paying, and you go to make a payment or hold a credit card, it only shows the last four numbers. I would suggest also attaching a name at this screen instead of guessing which card number belongs to whom.

                            When a guest would like to extend their stay but the room they are currently in is not available we would like to be able to extend their stay without having to start a new reservation. There should be an add a day feature in the reservations not just an add a room feature.

                              I'd like to be able to copy the email address when I open the reservation, instead of having to open the guest from the reservation to copy it (to eventuallly paste it in my email program).

                              • Discount should be able to be applied to the applicable nights and not apply to other nights

                                When a discount is for weeknights and a reservation has some weeknights and some weekend nights, right now it will apply the discount to all nights and if done as a package it appears as "grayed out"

                                  For company groups, must of the time all guest in the group share the same address, phone, group name, contact name, internal notes, guest notes, etc...). The way the system works today, you have to retype the same information again and again for every member of the group. Making this task really tedious and time consuming. It will be great to be able to copy a reservation and only change the name of the guest that will stay in the room.

                                  • Faster Quick Booking

                                    Because of the size of our hotel, the Quick booking is the most unresponsive window, it takes twice as long as scrolling through the Occupancy Map. Please fix this! I think it would be a great asset.

                                        If I have a reservation that needs to add a day that is non-consecutive (example: 3 days later they are coming back to stay) and they are asking to add this after the initial reservation was made, the only good way to do so is to extend the reservation out on the Occupancy Map and then edit the reservation to remove the un-needed days. We would like to have a method to simply add a non-consecutive day to a reservation with ease instead of having to a) refund money to a prepaid account and cancel, then re-create the reservation or… more

                                          Hi,

                                          I have a suggestion/complain concerning a limited feature on your system. There are many small bed & breakfast type places like ours that do not want to only be linked through large websites like expedia.com.

                                          It would be great to have the reservations linked with other smaller travel agencies which fit our demographic.

                                            Our Hotel has more than 60 rooms and Quick Booking is more or less useless because of this. Can it be rewritten to accommodate larger Hotels?
