    1. Ability to see what was emailed/printed to guest

      Need to be able to double click on communication and have it pop up in new window to see what was emailed/printed to guests, if any changes were made to template.

        With the popularity of Android based smart phones growing exponentially, I would highly recommend the development of a mobile booking engine interface for this technology.

        Something similar to the iPhone app.

          I send standard "welcome packets" to guests who have booked - I would love to be able to add attachments to emails sent from Rezovations.

          • Allow Guest to Add Themselves to Waitlist through Booking Engine

            When the booking engine comes back with no availability, invite the guest to add themselves to the waitlist through the booking engine! The form they fill out would include dates they would like to waitlist for, telephone, email, address and a notes section where they can put in their specific message - "We will take any room during this weekend!" or We only want the Carriage House Room, etc...

            • Block certain guests from booking online or over the phone

              A method for having a Do Not Rent list for people booking online. The list could allow matches by email address, last name, or full name, but email address would probably work best, since that person would likely use the same address every time. Alternatively, highlight the reservation on the local system if it matches the Do Not Rent list, so a desk clerk can cancel the reservation, or be alerted to not let the guest check in.

              • On the Booking Engine, we would like it to differentiate between adult and child guests

                On the Booking Engine, I would like Rezovation to figure in the additional fees for additional persons, in both child and adult catagories.

                • Dietary restriction, food allergy requests in booking engine.

                  It would be extremely helpful if when a guest is booking online that they need to check a box/drop down indicating either NO FOOD ISSUES or their specific food restriction. I currently include this in the customer/reservation user definable fields for phone reservations or repeat guests, but the online bookings are more difficult to get this information.

                    Hey guys!

                    The iPhone application is doing wonders, helping me check availability away from the desk.

                    However, I was wondering if you're ever considering releasing an iPad app? Just porting the iPhone version over would be enough for me...but perhaps an iPad version could have more features?

                    Are there any plans for a port?

                    • Postal Code Autofill for Canadian addresses

                      The ability to enter a guests postal code in Canada and have RezOvation automatically fill in the province and city. I know you have mentioned that this would slow down the database but a simple solution would be to make this feature optional. Those that agree fillingin the City and postal code takes more time than waiting for it to be filled in can enable the feature and those that are based in the USA or that don't want this feature can keep it disabled.

                        When a reservation has been made through bedandbreakfast.com, notify them when the reservation has been marked as check-in. Then they can issue payment without further action on our part.

                        • Multiple Property Management for Single Owners

                          Original title was: ability to run 2 properties on one screen, our intown B&B and rural cottages

                          We were able to run both properties through one program on Rezo Desktop, getting separate reports and running separate credit card accounts. Would like that same functionality on Rezo GT.

                            Some features that we are considering:

                            - Multiple booking engines split out by property (along with the ability to have a single booking engine for all properties)
                            - Revenue tracking / reports by property (we do have some support for this now by way of Revenue Accounts, however we will improve this)
                            - Filter occupancy map by property (or view all properties / rooms on one screen)

                          • Allow report data to be viewed in or exported to Excel

                            While it's easy to copy and paste some data from reports (such as revenue) from Word into excel there are others where it's very difficult - for example, we can't break down revenue by day because each day is separated out by a header in Word. Allowing this data to be presented or exported into one big Excel table would help out a lot.

                              We are now using Rezo GTO. On Rezo Desktop - when you open a reservation there is a line on the Status tab that says "Last Change: . It doesn't look like a field or clickable, but when you double-click on it you get a history of that reservation - the original set up, any edits, any payments - everything. FABULOUS for audits, corrections, etc. This is not on Rezo GT and we really need it!

                              • Schedule payment due dates

                                There should be a way to schedule and track deposit and payment due dates. The old Guest Tracker at least had an option for one payment due date (with tracking reports), but Rez/GT has none. It would also be desirable to have multiple payments/dates due when for when deposits are take for special events or on a layaway type program.

                                  Currently, any arrival time is allowable on the booking engine. This leads to (in an extreme but true case) guests arriving at 10 am to check in and feeling entitled because they communicated it to us when they booked online. It would be helpful if we could restrict the arrival time options to within our normal check in times only.

                                  • Under "add" feature include a way to extend a stay in another room (accomodate Rm changes)

                                    Sometimes when a guest extends their stay (after making an initial reservation) they must make a room change to do so. We need the ability to add a night - in a different room - to an existing reservation without making an entirely new reservation. Would it be possible to include a way to do this under the drag feature on the reservation board screen? Or perhaps it would be possible to include it under the "add" feature within the individual reservation screen?

                                    • Tax plans should be tied to rooms and/or room types or reservations should allow multiple rate types

                                      Tax plans should be tied either to individual rooms or room types so that taxes are only levied where appropriate. For instance, our community levies a room tax for sleeping accommodations, but not for meeting rooms. But Rez/GT charges the tax on all units. I've tried a workaround whereby I've created a separate rate type for rooms/room types that are not taxable, but I cannot book units with multiple rate types on a single reservation. To get the system to handle taxes properly, I need to create separate reservations for taxable and non-taxable units.

                                      • I wish guest photos could be stored and viewed as part of the contact's record.

                                        With so many guests staying at the B&B, it's hard to remember them all, but being able to see their photo along with the rest of their contact info would be a HUGE help.

                                          Can you work on a processing alternative? We seem to have endless problems with Intuit. It would be nice to have an option that is integrated with GT.

                                            I would like to see a report for cancelled reservations by date.
                                            Ideally, you would be able to select any given date, and the report would list reservations that were cancelled on the selected date, and by whom.
                                            Right now, when I go into the reservations and sales screen, I can see a list of all of the cancelled reservations, but it does not list when they were cancelled or by whom.
